Chapter Five

Mike was feeling a little bit buzzed, but Katie, the redhead he picked up in the bar, was all over him. She was definitely a little drunk, but they hit it off well and spent the evening alone at the bar, bullshitting and making out like they knew one another for a while. It was time to take her home and whatever happened. This night turned out a hell of a lot better than he thought. He really wasn’t sure if Cynthia would buy the routine that April was his date and his lover he replaced Cynthia with, but she did. He owed April big time for going along with it. Especially since she liked Caden, Simon, and Aqua, and they were ready to kill him over her. He chuckled. April wouldn’t know what hit her with those three badass Seals staking a claim. He could feel the attraction between them and April. It was magical, and he couldn’t help but to be envious.

He pulled Katie into his arms and pressed her against the car door as he kissed her. He knew this wasn’t going to turn into anything, or maybe it might. He had no expectations and was just going to go with the flow. She moaned into his mouth, and he felt her up, cupped her decent-size breasts, and then stroked the nipples. He moved his mouth over her neck, and she gripped him tight.

“Holy crap, Mike. I can’t believe how you make me feel,” she said, and her words made him wince a little. Would it be a dick move to fuck her and leave her? Was he just trying to protect his heart after what Cynthia did to him?

“We got tonight, baby. I feel it, too,” he admitted and cupped her cheeks, looked into her light green eyes, and he felt something. A twinge of something he didn’t want to face. He pulled back and winked, covering up the connection.

“Let’s go. Where do you live?”

Not far from here,” she said.

“Hey, Mike, have a good night, buddy!” Vince yelled to him, walking away with a blonde on his arm. She was kissing Vince’s neck, and Vince had his hand on her ass as they headed to his car.

“Good night,” Mike said and then got Katie into the car. He drove down the road and headed to her place with her sliding her palm up and down his inner thigh then over his cock.

“Oh, Mike,” she whispered then leaned closer to kiss his neck. He knew he was hung big, and Cynthia loved that about him, or so he thought. He blinked his eyes, focused on driving when he probably shouldn’t be driving. He was pretty buzzed. He got to her place, and they giggled and tripped a little. Now that the alcohol was absorbing into his system, he felt a little more buzzed, but they got into her place, a townhouse that was pretty nice. She walked over to the bar and poured them some shots.
